Ia menyanyikan soundtrack Love Like This untuk drama Fashion King 2012 dan The Person that Makes You Happy untuk film My Paparotti 2013. Menjalani wajib militernya dari 25 Oktober 2012 sampai dengan 24 Juli 2014. Menjadi duta untuk Korean Academy of Film Arts KAFA, the Korea National Police Agency’s Human Rights, Oxfam Korea and Seoul Biennale of Architecture and Urbanism. Menjadi cameo di serial Hot Stove League 2020 karena sangat menyukai drama itu dan ingin tampil di serial itu. Film Collectors 2020 menjadi film komedi pertama baginya dan menjadi tantangan tersendiri. Meski begitu, ia mengaku menjadi orang yang lebih banyak bercahaya dan ceria sejak bermain di film itu.
